Protein shakes come in all types of flavours nowadays, everything from bubble gum crush to your standard chocolate flavours. However sometimes our go to flavour can be a bit boring so here are four quick and easy protein shake recipes.

Peanut butter and chocolate shake
This is a quick and simple recipe to liven up your boring protein shake. Its recommended you use natural unsalted peanut butter for the best results.
Ingredients:
2 scoops of chocolate whey protein
1 teaspoon of creamy peanut butter
16 oz milk
½ cup of ice cubes
Instructions
Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. 
Banana and chocolate Protein shake 
This recipe is a good way to use up any leftover banana’s and adds to your five a day. Its also very quick and easy with very little preparation time.
Ingredients:
1 banana 
2 scoops of chocolate whey protein
1 cup of milk 
½ cup of ice cubes
Instructions:
Peel the bananas and then add all the ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. 
Vanilla coffee shake
This is a great recipe to replace your sugar filled morning latte with. Packed with protein and with a rich creamy flavour this is going to be a favourite. 
Ingredients:
2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
1 ½ cups of milk
½ cup of low-fat coffee ice cream
Instructions
Combine the ingredients and blend until smooth. 
Wild Berry Shake
This is a very fibrous and nutrient rich shake. No fresh berries? No problem frozen works just as well. With a quick prep time this is a go to on them days where time is an issue.
Ingredients:
3 cups of mixed berries
2 cups of milk 
1 cup of ice
2 scoops of protein powder
